UPrep Elite Training Camp – Program Overview
Our UPrep Week-Long Elite Training Camp is an intensive, high-performance development experience designed to prepare our athletes for the upcoming circuit season.
Running Monday through Sunday from 9:00am–7:00pm each day, the camp offers a complete immersion into the standards, expectations, and competitive environment of UPrep basketball.
Throughout the week, athletes will participate in a full slate of structured training and team development, including:
On-Court Skill Development
Players will engage in multiple on-court sessions daily focused on individual skill refinement, decision-making, footwork, and positional development. Training is progressive and tailored to the demands of circuit-level play.
Team Practices & Concepts
Athletes will learn and execute UPrep team systems — including offensive sets, defensive principles, spacing concepts, transition habits, and special situations. These sessions ensure every player understands the tactical framework required to compete at a high level.
Strength, Conditioning & Athletic Development
Daily conditioning sessions will push athletes physically and mentally, improving stamina, explosiveness, and overall athletic readiness for the season ahead.
Classroom Film Study
Each day includes a dedicated film-study classroom session where athletes will review and dissect game film. The goal is to help players understand why decisions are made, recognize patterns, analyze advantages, and deepen their understanding of the game. This classroom-based approach accelerates basketball IQ and translates directly to smarter on-court play.
Team Plays & Program Culture
Throughout the camp, athletes will be introduced to UPrep’s competitive culture, expectations, communication standards, and team values — all essential components of being part of the program.
Circuit Season Preparation
By the end of the week, players will have a strong grasp of team systems, elevated physical and skill readiness, sharpened basketball IQ, and the confidence required as they transition into competing on the circuit.
